Hello everyone! We at Yandex Fintech are looking for senior/lead backend developers for the data platform team.
Our team is building a data platform that will increase the performance and fault tolerance of all products in our business unit. The task is to efficiently process the entire Bank's data flow (which involves loads of hundreds of thousands of rows per second and gigabytes of data per second) and deliver it to consumers in real time. Currently, we are writing our own backend solutions to achieve what traditional off-the-shelf solutions cannot yet do. Our goals here are real-time data & zero data loss.
We are looking for backend engineers with at least 4 years of experience in highload systems and a strong foundation in distributed systems. Experience at the intersection with data engineering will be a plus, but not required — a strong backend foundation and interest in platform tasks are more important.
Our stack: Kotlin, Kafka, PostgreSQL, S3, Trino, K8S, Yandex Cloud
