ML Engineer (Scala/Python)

We already have 5 million installations, over $7 million in investments, and tens of thousands of daily users worldwide. We work as a team of 30 people from 14 countries.

We are looking for an ML Engineer for the recommendation systems team to help develop the infrastructure and ensure reliable delivery of recommendations to users.

You will work on data processing systems and ML pipelines that form the basis of Gameram's recommendation algorithms, as well as participate in infrastructure development.

Technology stack: Scala/Java, Python, Spark, Airflow, Hadoop, Hdfs, Kafka, Clickhouse, Superset, Redis, PostgreSQL.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and improving ML pipelines;
• Creating new and developing existing ETL processes;
• Implementing tools for product analytics and machine learning;
• Working on the performance, stability, and fault tolerance of the platform;
• Participating in the implementation of MLOps practices;
• Collaborating with DS, analytics, and product teams to evaluate recommendation quality and product impact.

What we expect from you:

• Solid knowledge of Scala/Java and Python;
• Experience in developing and supporting ML pipelines;
• Understanding of database principles, distributed data storage and processing systems;
• Experience with Spark, Airflow, Hadoop/HDFS, Kafka; ClickHouse, Redis, PostgreSQL;
• Experience developing services or pipelines in high-load products;
• Understanding of the ML component lifecycle in a product: from data and model training to delivering results to the user.

Will be a plus:

• Experience operating ML infrastructure in AWS;
• Experience in Linux administration.
