tl;dr: infrastructure engineer, $180k−250k + equity, US/Europe remote
It’s been a while since we wrote about Tzafon — but they have news💪
Tzafon is an applied AI lab that builds infrastructure and its own models for highly multi-agent systems (with hundreds of agents simultaneously). The founders are IMO and IOI medalists, the team is ex-Google, DeepMind, Altera, and MIT, with a crazy pre-seed round of $9.7M.
And a couple of weeks ago, Tzafon launched Lightcone. It's a platform where agents operate in isolated environments with browsers, file systems, and general computer use. Everything is serious and enterprise-grade: Lightcone is deployed on the client's servers or in their cloud, each agent's action is logged and sent where it needs to go. They gave access to hundreds of developers in a closed beta, and last week they opened it up to everyone 💡
We’ve already helped the team find an Infrastructure Engineer once — and now we want to find another one!
We need your experience with all the low-level, high-performance, and distributed infrastructure team levels at Google. If you have medals from various IOI and IMO competitions — that's also a plus.
If you want more formal requirements, they are as follows:
⚡ experience with real-time APIs: streams, websockets, RTC-style systems; ⚡ Go with a deep understanding of concurrency and a bit of Rust; ⚡ observability (OpenTelemetry, metrics, traces) and reliability (SLO, autoscaling, backpressure); ➕ Temporal/NATS/Kafka, ClickHouse, Kubernetes/Nomad will be a plus.
They pay $180k–250k + equity of $400k+. They provide health insurance and sponsor visas. You can work remotely from the USA or Europe 🗺
