Web Services Testing Engineer in FinTech

FinTech is a young and bold direction at Yandex. We create both banking and non-banking products that work towards one goal — to make online and offline payments more convenient and secure. Our team is responsible for credit products: Split, Super Split, cash loans, loans for taxi drivers, and Split in Uzbekistan, as well as regulatory tasks from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for these products.

We are looking for a strong QA engineer to join our team to test web services and integrations, for example with Yandex Market.

What tasks await you

Functional testing of web services and integrations You will test new projects in the credit product direction, support releases, make decisions about deployment, monitor product quality, and solve tasks related to the implementation of regulatory requirements from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. You will interact with designers, developers, and other project participants.

Participation in product creation at all stages You will clarify requirements, make suggestions, and together with the team make decisions on improving services and their testing processes.

Creation of test documentation You will need to form testing artifacts: test plan, checklists, test cases, bug reports.

We expect that you

• Have been engaged in functional testing for at least three years
• Have tested frontend and integrations
• Are familiar with the principles of client-server applications and architecture
• Know DevTools, Postman, Sniffer, and other testing tools
• Understand development and testing processes
• Are able to plan your time and meet deadlines

Will be a plus

• Have tested banking and fintech applications
• Have automated testing using Playwright, TS
