We are looking for a Junior Automation QA Engineer with Java skills to work in an IT company in the South of Russia. This role is suitable for both aspiring AQA engineers and Java developers who wish to enter the IT field through automation.
Responsibilities:
- Write autotests in Java/Kotlin
- Cover the entire testing cycle: from unit to integration tests in pipelines
- Work with REST API using RestAssured
- Test Spring Boot applications
- Verify data in the database using SQL
- Set up test environments in Docker
- Run tests in CI/CD and analyze logs
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Java/Kotlin at the core and collections level
- Experience with Git
- Experience writing autotests using JUnit / TestNG
- Experience with RestAssured
- Understanding of testing Spring Boot applications
- Basic knowledge of SQL (JOIN, data verification)
- Ability to work with Docker
- Understanding of CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Presence of pet projects with autotests
- Understanding of mocks (Mockito)
