Senior QA Automation Java
What you will do:
- Perform integration, functional, and end-to-end API testing
- Record defects, underdeveloped/controversial requirements
- Develop automated tests for existing and new company products using the Java stack
- Develop auxiliary general solutions
- Conduct test optimization
- Conduct code review
- Prepare and maintain the test environment in Docker
- Integrate tests into CI as a Quality Gate, analyze execution results
- Closely collaborate with architects, developers, and system analysts within the product team.
We expect you to:
- Have more than 5 years of experience with Java, and also know Spring Boot 2+
- Possess confident knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and data structures
- Have experience working with Maven
- Have experience testing RESTful services and Web UI
- Have experience writing integration tests
- Have experience testing distributed systems
- Be able to identify and eliminate causes of instability in automated tests
- Have experience working with PostgreSQL
- Have experience working in Unix environments, with version control systems (Git), and with Docker containers
- Be able to conduct Code-review for QA Automation Engineers (Java)
- Be capable of solving complex technical problems.
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of classic programming algorithms
- Experience implementing or supporting CI pipelines
- Experience working with distributed data storage.
