Backend Developer for the Communication Platform Team
Almost every Yandex service involves phone calls, and nearly all of them are handled by our communication platform. Every day, millions of calls pass through it. This includes calls within Yandex Go services and inside Yandex Smart Home.
Our task is to enable other Yandex services to implement any call handling scenario without worrying about the number of participants and their geographical distribution, and without concerns about potential infrastructure issues and other technical complexities.
Processing audio and video streams In real time: mixing, transcoding, etc.
Development You will be developing tools for debugging and diagnosing media in VoIP calls, as well as building a universal platform for call processing.
Integration with other media-related services Specifically: recording and playing media files via S3, speech synthesis and recognition via Yandex SpeechKit.
