Description
SberLinux OS is a family of modern RPM-based distributions developed within the SBER group of companies, designed to solve server and container computing tasks using advanced containerization and virtualization technologies.
Responsibilities
- discovery, inventory, assessment, and analysis of Linux OS vulnerabilities
- development of regression control criteria for the presence of vulnerabilities
- development of security bulletins (including the development of measures to mitigate the risks of non-fixable vulnerabilities)
- identification and localization of Linux OS defects and determination of conditions for defect reproducibility.
Requirements
- confident knowledge and experience working with server Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS) at a system administrator level
- knowledge of Linux OS protection mechanisms and subsystems
- knowledge and experience in task automation using scripting languages (bash, Python, etc.)
- understanding of the fundamentals of information security and the ability to apply them in work
- experience with Linux OS hardening
- knowledge of tools and methods for identifying software vulnerabilities
- knowledge of vulnerability types and typical sources of information about them
- knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies
- experience with safe exploit analysis
- ability to extract information from any sources in a safe manner.
Will be a plus:
- experience conducting security audits of software solutions
- skills working with DevOps tools (Ansible, Git, Jenkins)
- experience participating in penetration testing and bug bounty.
