BGStaff is an IT staffing agency (since 2016). Work on the bench with projects of your choice. Project tasks include developing solutions within the VRS platform on Vectura Framework (VFW).
☑️ Responsibilities
- Implementation of new functionality and development of existing platform modules on Vectura Framework: backend in Go, data structure changes in PostgreSQL, frontend in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Development of software solutions based on requirements from functional consultants, in accordance with development process regulations
- Development of integration exchange with external systems according to agreed contracts
- Preparation of data migration scenarios when changing the schema, development of unit tests
- Internal testing of developments on a test environment according to scenarios from the requirements, handover to the consultant for acceptance
- Bug fixing: localization of errors in code, making corrections, verification, and handover for re-acceptance
- Support, documentation, and operation of applications, participation in peer code reviews
☑️ Candidate Requirements
- Experience in developing new services and modules from scratch, not just supporting existing code
- Experience in developing server-side logic and software interfaces: REST API, WebSockets
- Experience with PostgreSQL: data schema design, writing and optimizing queries, finding slow queries, secure operations on large data volumes
- Experience developing on the Vectura Framework (VFW) platform: configuring objects and fields, status model and transitions, user actions, business logic in handlers, subscriptions and notifications, access rights
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and React sufficient for modifying the client part of modules and connecting with the server API
- Ability to work according to formalized requirements
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), understanding of asynchronous programming
- Fluent in Git, Unix utilities and commands (ssh, grep, etc.)
