Expectations:
- Experience in developing new services and modules from scratch, not just supporting existing code;
- Experience in developing and supporting server logic and software interfaces: REST API, WebSockets;
- Experience with PostgreSQL: data schema design, query writing and optimization, identification of slow queries, understanding of safe operations on large data volumes;
- Experience in development on the Vectura Framework (VFW) platform: configuring objects and their fields, expanding the set of attributes, setting up the status model and transitions, custom actions, implementing additional business logic in handlers, configuring subscriptions and notifications, access rights at the level of screens, fields, types, and object instances;
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and React to a sufficient extent for modifying the client-side of platform modules and their connection to the server API;
- Ability to work according to a formalized specification: implement the described solution, independently verify the result, and submit it for acceptance;
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.);
- Fluent use of tools: Git, Unix utilities and commands (ssh, grep, etc.);
- Understanding of asynchronous programming
Project Tasks
- Development of software solutions within the VRS platform based on specifications received from functional consultants and in accordance with development regulations.
- Implementation of new functionality and development of existing platform modules on Vectura Framework: backend in Go, changes in PostgreSQL data structures, frontend in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Development of integration exchange with external systems according to agreed contracts.
- Clarification with the consultant of incomplete or contradictory parts of the specification before starting work, assessment of effort and risks.
- Preparation of data migration scenarios when changing the schema.
- Development of unit tests.
- Conducting internal testing of the implemented development on a test environment according to scenarios described in the specification, and submitting the result to the consultant for acceptance.
- Addressing consultant's remarks after acceptance and functional testing until the task is closed.
- Fixing defects according to consultant's specifications: localizing errors in code, making corrections, testing, and resubmitting for re-acceptance.
- Support, documentation, and operation of developed applications, participation in peer code reviews.
