United company Wildberries and Russ is an international technology company formed by the merger of two market leaders – IT company Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ. Along with the large-scale development of the IT direction, Wildberries is building a Trust and Safety culture, ensuring continuous security and trust between the company, its employees, users, and clients. Here, we are actively developing our new product WB Chat – a modern messenger for convenient communication with friends, family, and colleagues. The product is currently in BETA version, but already includes a wide range of features: personal chats, channels, public and private groups, folders, audio calls, voice messages, reactions, media file previews, and much more. We are now expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Golang developer.
Your responsibilities will include
- Designing architecture and developing new high-load microservices to expand platform functionality;
- Creating fault-tolerant integrations with internal consumers and data providers within the microservice and event-driven architecture;
- Supporting, optimizing, and refining common libraries and core components; optimizing data storage;
- Optimizing data storage and message broker operations under high load;
- Covering code with tests, metrics, and creating technical dashboards.
What we expect from you
- Excellent knowledge of Golang, deep understanding of concurrency (goroutines, channels, sync package), garbage collector and scheduler operation;
- Understanding of design patterns, principles of building microservice and event-driven architecture;
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Redis/Cassandra), ability to optimize queries;
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ);
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
