Description
We are looking for a strong architect with an engineering background to design and develop distributed information systems. The role involves active participation in building architecture "from scratch", developing integrations, and forming a cohesive architectural landscape.
Key Tasks
- Design and development of distributed systems (including from scratch);
- Formation of integration architecture between heterogeneous systems and data sources;
- Development of data exchange architecture and service interaction;
- Development and optimization of existing architecture;
- Formation of architecture in the Architecture as Code format;
- Interaction with analysts and development teams;
- Participation in the design of network connectivity and infrastructure;
- Ensuring data security and integration requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
Architecture and Design:
- Experience as a system architect / technical analyst / solutions architect;
- Practical experience in designing systems from scratch;
- Ability to describe architecture (diagrams, schemes, documentation);
- Understanding of distributed and integration architectures.
Integrations and Data Exchange:
- Practical experience with RPC, REST, SOAP;
- Experience with ETL, batch, and streaming integrations;
- Experience integrating with various data sources;
- Understanding of integration and fault tolerance patterns.
Databases and Data:
- Experience with Oracle / PostgreSQL;
- Confident knowledge of SQL (schema and query design);
- General understanding of Big Data / Hadoop;
- Design of storage schemas and data flows.
Infrastructure and Networks:
- Understanding of network connectivity and distributed systems;
- Experience participating in infrastructure solutions;
- Understanding of service interaction at the network level.
Security:
- Knowledge of encryption protocols and key management principles;
- Understanding of protection and masking of sensitive data;
- Consideration of information security requirements at the architectural level.
Approaches and Tools:
- Experience or understanding of Architecture as Code;
- Practical experience with DDD / EAI / integration architecture;
- Experience with Structurizr will be a big plus.
Bonus Points
- Experience in domains: telecom, retail, e-commerce.
Candidate Profile
- Architect with a strong engineering background;
- Hands-on specialist, not a manager;
- Able to work in conditions of uncertainty and complex systems;
- Capable of effectively interacting with business and development.
Whom we do not consider
- Cloud-only architects without on-prem and network experience;
- Specialists in narrow domains (mobile development, SAP, 1C, frontend, office solutions, gaming/betting);
- PM / RM and other purely managerial roles;
- System administrators without architectural experience.
