The New Information Security (IS) Methods team automates and develops cyber threat protection processes for Yandex City Services: Taxi, Market, Lavka, and many others. Our task is to build technologies that make the ecosystem safe and resilient, allowing the business to grow at the required speed.

What tasks await you

Development of threat detection systems You will develop services that analyze user activity in real time and identify suspicious actions.

Analytics and data work You will create and improve systems of metrics and dashboards to assess the effectiveness of defense mechanisms. You will work with large datasets, applying various methods for their analysis.

Investigations and preventive measures You will become part of the team conducting technical investigations of security incidents. Based on the analysis of attack vectors, you will develop new protection mechanisms and create automated risk mitigation systems.

ML/AI development In this direction, you will create and train models for detecting anomalous behavior, develop systems for automatic classification of incidents and assistants for their investigation, as well as implement mechanisms for continuous learning based on incoming data.
