Hello everyone! We at FinDev are looking for a Senior C++ Developer

We are looking for a strong C++ developer for our team, which builds and develops a large electronic trading platform. The main stack is C++20, Linux, microservices, and the work itself involves the backend of the trading system: order and trade processing, trading logic, integrations, and a lot of complex modern C++.

However, a person exclusively from HFT or ultra-low-latency development is not required here. What's more important for us is truly strong C++, a good understanding of templates and core concurrency principles, experience with Linux and complex production systems. Experience in trading or financial markets will be an excellent plus, but we are open to considering candidates without it.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services in C++20 for the electronic trading platform. • Work with negotiation and trade execution logic. • Develop integrations with internal and external systems. • Work with microservices and distributed architecture. • Participate in the design of new functionality. • Troubleshoot production issues together with QA and Support. • Work in an international team of developers and business representatives.

Requirements:

✔ 5+ years of commercial C++ development experience. ✔ Strong C++17/20 knowledge. ✔ Good understanding of STL, templates, and generic programming. ✔ RAII, object lifetime, data structures & algorithms. ✔ Basic understanding of multithreading and concurrency. ✔ Experience developing for Linux. ✔ Experience working with complex backend / distributed systems. ✔ Ability to independently troubleshoot issues, report blockers, and work effectively with the team. ✔ English B2+.

Will be a big plus:

➕ Electronic trading / financial markets. ➕ FIX, market data, exchanges, order management. ➕ Fixed income / equities / derivatives. ➕ FlatBuffers / Protobuf. ➕ Redis, messaging / pub-sub. ➕ Python. ➕ CMake / Conan.

Important: experience in trading or finance is not mandatory. If you have strong modern C++ and Linux skills, the team is ready to train you in the financial domain.
