Vital Partners recruitment agency is looking for a lead developer for a client — a product company developing software for information security, operating systems, and application software for federal-level projects. A total of 6 product teams, with 10 specialists in each. Stack: C#/.NET, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Linux, Windows, C/C++.
☑️ Responsibilities
- Development of services, utilities, and tools in C#/.NET; integration of native ↔️ .NET (interop/IPC/API)
- Database architecture design (MS SQL Server + PostgreSQL)
- Cross-platform development and support for Linux and Windows
- Technical leadership: reviews, architectural decisions, eliminating technical debt, improving reliability under load
- Design and development of modules in C/C++
☑️ Our requirements for candidates
- Commercial development experience as a C#/.NET developer for at least 5 years
- Database experience for at least 5 years: confident SQL and experience in designing databases under load
- Experience in developing high-load projects for at least 2 years
- Confident C#/.NET level: async/await, Task, cancellation, concurrent access, diagnostics
- Debugging and profiling practice: gdb/lldb/Visual Studio Debugger, analysis of crashes, leaks, and performance degradations
- MS SQL Server (Windows and Linux) and PostgreSQL: indexes, query plans, transactions, isolation levels, locks and deadlocks
- Experience in development, building, and diagnostics in Linux and Windows for at least 5 years
- Basic cryptography: distinguish hash/encryption/MAC/signature, understand the purpose of primitives and typical application errors
- Will be an advantage: commercial development experience in C/C++ (memory management, RAII, multithreading, synchronization, network and I/O tasks), experience in information security projects
