Our client: A software product company developing information security, operating systems, and application software for federal-level projects.
Team: A total of 6 product teams, each with 10 specialists.
Stack: C#/.NET, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Linux, Windows, C/C++ (a plus).
Responsibilities:
- Development of services/utilities/tools in C#/.NET; integration of native ↔ .NET (interop/IPC/API).
- Design of DB architecture (MS SQL Server + PostgreSQL).
- Cross-platform development and support for Linux and Windows.
- Technical leadership: reviews, architectural decisions, eliminating technical debt, improving reliability under load.
- Design and development of modules in C/C++
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial development experience as a C#/.NET developer - mandatory!
- 5+ years of experience with databases: confident SQL + experience in designing databases under load (specifically data architecture) - mandatory!
- Experience in information security projects - a plus.
- 2+ years of experience developing projects with high load.
- C#/.NET experience: confident level (async/await, Task, cancellation, concurrent access, diagnostics).
- Debugging and profiling practice: gdb/lldb/Visual Studio Debugger, analysis of crashes, leaks, performance degradations.
- MS SQL Server (Windows + Linux) and PostgreSQL: indexes, query plans, transactions, isolation levels, locks/deadlocks.
- Linux and Windows: 5+ years of experience in development/build/diagnostics in both OS.
- Cryptography (basic knowledge and experience): differentiate hash/encryption/MAC/signature; understand the purpose of primitives and typical application errors.
Will be an advantage: commercial development experience in C/C++: confident memory management, RAII, multithreading, synchronization, network/IO tasks.
