Every time a driver or courier signs up to work with inDrive, someone has to decide: can we trust this person to join our platform? This post is about what I've been working on as the Lead of the Compliance Product Team, and why we're growing the team 🙂

Before joining inDrive, I thought Compliance was mostly about checking documents and meeting regulatory requirements. In reality, it's much more interesting.

My team answers one question: can we trust this person with our users? We don't just verify people during onboarding. We collect and verify documents, make sure they stay up to date, integrate with government registries and external providers, and decide whether someone can continue working with us. These decisions determine who is allowed to operate on the platform.

Today we work across 48 countries, each with different regulations, documents and verification rules. Building a separate solution for every market simply doesn't scale. Instead, we're building a horizontal Compliance Platform that provides reusable building blocks for verification across countries and business verticals.

Our goal isn't just automation. We use AI, OCR and external integrations to automate as many decisions as possible, while also building great internal tools for the cases that still require human review. That's what I enjoy most about this domain. It combines platform architecture, AI, internal products, operational efficiency and regulatory challenges at global scale.

And now to the main reason for this post 🙂 We're actively growing the team.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our verification domain, and we're also building a new engineering team for our Compliance Platform. That means we're hiring an Engineering Manager and Backend Engineers who enjoy platform products, AI, automation and complex distributed systems.
