Hello! We are looking for a Game Mathematician / Specialist in Game Mechanics Mathematics.
We are developing a large-scale website for opening cases with CS2 items/skins. We are seeking a strong mathematician to take charge of the development and configuration of the project's mathematical model.
Key tasks:
• Calculation of the case opening mathematical model • Configuration of item drop probabilities • Calculation of RTP, EV, and project margin • Calculation of variance / volatility • Setting case costs relative to the cost of contained items • Modeling a large number of openings (Monte Carlo) • Testing the economy over the long term: 100 thousand / 1 million / 10+ million openings • Analysis of possible loss-making scenarios for the platform • Development of an algorithm for automatic recalculation of probabilities when the market value of CS2 skins changes • Mathematical tuning of bonus mechanics, upgrades, battles, and other game modes • Monitoring the overall project economy and its stability
What we want to achieve:
A mathematical system where the required RTP/margin can be set, and the algorithm correctly calculates probabilities and case economics, taking into account item costs.
It is important that the actual results over a long distance correspond to the calculated mathematical model.
It will be a big plus to have experience in:
iGaming / Game Math / Loot Boxes / Case Opening / CS2 / Slots / RNG / Game Economy.
Knowledge of Python and experience in building Monte-Carlo simulations will also be a great advantage.
We need not just a programmer, but someone who truly understands probability theory, mathematical statistics, and the economics of such game systems.
The project is long-term. After the development of the main model, further work on new mechanics and balance will be required.
