Senior Python Developer (Visiology Cortex)

Polymedia is one of the leaders in the Russian BI market. Visiology Cortex is the AI module of the platform, an integrated intelligent assistant based on LLM. Technologies: Python, LangGraph, PostgreSQL, vector embeddings, LLM API, Docker.
☑️ Responsibilities
- Development of Cortex architecture: LangGraph agents, request routing, multi-agent scenarios
- Development and optimization of RAG pipeline: document indexing, working with embeddings and rerankers, search by vector representations
- Integration with LLM (Claude / OpenAI / GigaChat / open-source models), inference cost control, streaming responses (SSE)
- Development of backend services in Python
- Working with PostgreSQL, including storage and search by vectors
- Integration with the Visiology platform core via REST API (dashboards, metrics, data models)
- Specific tasks in Angular/TypeScript (Cortex UI) and C#/.NET when connecting to platform services
- Writing unit and integration tests, developing technical documentation
☑️ Our requirements for candidates
- Commercial development experience from 6 years
- Proficient knowledge of Python, experience in building backend services
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Understanding of basic principles of working with LLM and RAG: embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, context limitations
- Practical experience with AI development assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar)
- Understanding of web applications (HTTP, REST API)
- Knowledge of data structures and design patterns
- Ability to conduct high-quality code reviews
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- English language proficiency for reading technical documentation
