About the company

Unicornbook is an AI platform for personalized learning for children in grades 2–4.

We want to change the traditional approach to homework. Children learn the school curriculum through what truly interests them: football, Minecraft, drawing, dancing, robots, and other hobbies. AI helps adapt explanations and tasks to each child, so they can better understand the material and complete assignments independently.

Our goal is to make learning clearer and more interesting for children, and to give parents back the time currently spent on daily homework assistance.

We are currently looking for a Frontend Developer to create an interface that is clear, beautiful, and user-friendly for children and parents.

Responsibilities

1. User Interface Development

· Create website pages: registration, child profile, subject selection, topic explanation, homework help.

· Make the interface responsive — so it works on phones, tablets, and computers.

· Implement animations and visual effects that children will enjoy.

2. Integration with Backend and AI

· Connect the frontend to the Backend API (registration, progress saving, content generation).

· Configure the display of AI-generated content (text, images, audio).

3. Quality and Performance

· Ensure fast page loading (image and code optimization).

· Test interface functionality on different devices.

· Participate in code reviews and maintain code cleanliness.

What we value

· Your understanding of how a startup works

· Experience with React and Next.js.

· Knowledge of TypeScript.

· Understanding of working with REST API.

· Ability to create adaptive layouts (mobile-first).

· Experience with Git.

· Understanding how to create interfaces for children (large buttons, bright colors, simple navigation) — will be a big plus.

Will be a plus

· Experience with animations (Framer Motion, GSAP).

· Experience in EdTech or startups.

· Understanding of UX/UI for children.
