Data Engineer Hourly rate: 1700 - 2000 RUB. Format: remote only from the RF. Company: Omega Solutions Project: Retail

Mandatory requirements

• Knowledge of SQL (indexes, functions, optimization, performance profiling);
• Experience with any relational database (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, MsSQL, DB2, etc.);
• Understanding/experience with the S3, Trino, Clickhouse, Greenplum, Hive stack;
• Ability to work with Git (knowledge of git pull/commit/push commands);
• Experience with DBT, Cosmos;
• Understanding of Iceberg architecture, data formats;
• Basic Python data handling skills;
• Experience using project management and documentation systems.

Project tasks

• Conduct development according to the technical specification;
• Improve existing EDW data marts and develop new ones;
• Develop standard streaming integration solutions using the stack of technologies adopted by the team: Trino, Iceberg, S3, Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Cosmos, Flink;
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for the big data platform;
• Provide reports on activities to the manager.
