Looking for a Data Engineer

Format: remote Salary: from 200,000 ₽ Project duration: long-term

Tasks: • Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and analyzing data sources; • Developing, implementing, and maintaining integration flows and data marts; • Developing solutions using Trino, Iceberg, S3, Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Cosmos, Flink stack; • Promptly resolving incidents and performing tasks within the scope of responsibility; • Maintaining and updating technical documentation for the big data platform; • Preparing reports on completed tasks.

Requirements: ✔️ Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and principles of big data platform operation; ✔️ Understanding the differences between Big Data/Lakehouse and traditional data storage systems; ✔️ Proficient knowledge of SQL (indexes, functions, query optimization, performance profiling); ✔️ Knowledge of Python and/or Java; ✔️ Experience with relational DBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, etc.); ✔️ Proficient command of Git; ✔️ Experience with DBT, Cosmos, Apache NiFi; ✔️ Experience developing with Apache Spark; ✔️ Understanding of Trino's operating principles; ✔️ Knowledge of data formats Iceberg, Parquet, Avro; ✔️ Experience with S3-compatible storage (MinIO or similar); ✔️ Experience with project management systems and technical documentation.
