The company is looking for a Lead Engineer to work on large-scale tasks for the support and development of data infrastructure for one of the largest Russian banks.

Level: Middle+ Location: Remote within Russia Salary Range: up to 300,000 rubles net Equipment: At the candidate's discretion

Responsibilities:

• Support and analysis of existing data loading processes, ensuring their stability and performance.
• Monitoring of loading processes, prompt identification and elimination of anomalies in pipeline operations.
• Testing enhancements and deploying them to the production environment, controlling the quality of implemented changes.
• Handling user requests within the scope of second-line support competencies, consulting with adjacent teams.
• Reviewing and updating technical documentation, ensuring its completeness and compliance with the current architecture.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and ETL process development.
• Experience with the technology stack: Postgres, Apache Spark, Hadoop / S3-compatible storage, Apache Airflow, Parquet/ORC formats.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar systems for task and documentation management.
• Skills in working with XML, JSON formats for data integration and exchange.
• System analysis and testing skills, attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of RDBMS and message queues (Kafka) will be an advantage.
