Software Architect (Network Security)
We offer the opportunity to participate in the creation of high-tech solutions in the field of network construction and network security (SD-WAN, NGFW, VPNaaS, and User-Aware Service (UAWS)).
What you will be doing:
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications: identify system and inter-component dependencies, actively participate in requirement decomposition;
- Design and maintain the architecture of high-load network products and services;
- Document architectural decisions and ensure the relevance of architectural documentation;
- Interact and coordinate solutions with architects and technical leaders of other teams;
- Consult development and integration teams on technical and architectural issues;
- Participate in conducting technical research and analyzing new technologies and tools applicable in the field of Network Security.
What you need for this:
- Deep understanding of the architecture and operation of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, IPsec, TLS, etc.);
- Knowledge of architectures and methods for building distributed client-server applications and network solutions;
- Experience with cloud and microservices solution architectures;
- Understanding and practical experience in applying modern approaches to ensuring the security of network services and component interaction (PKI, authentication, authorization, encryption);
- Experience in designing and supporting high-load, fault-tolerant, and scalable services and subsystems;
- Practical experience in creating and maintaining project and technical documentation;
- Confident skills in working with Linux (network subsystems, configuration, troubleshooting);
- Ability to independently conduct technical research, analyze and evaluate solutions;
- Ability to estimate the labor intensity and deadlines for project and research tasks;
- Technical English – fluent reading and understanding of documentation.
Desired:
- Experience in commercial software product development, preferably in network security or infrastructure;
- Basic programming skills and understanding of software development principles;
- Experience with virtualization systems.
