Network engineer
Remote and full-time
We are looking for a network engineer to participate in a large-scale digital transformation project for the bank. There are several areas open for discussion: data center, firewall (security), routing. The tasks will be related to the design and support of data centers, security policies and protection of critical infrastructure, and routing.
Requirements (combined set within the three areas)
- 3+ years of experience with data center networks;
- Excellent understanding of network protocols and data center construction principles (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6);
- Practical experience with BGP, OSPF, VXLAN EVPN;
- Confident skills in working with Cisco Nexus / Cisco Catalyst;
- Good understanding of network protocols and architectures: TCP/IP, NAT, VPN, VLAN, routing;
- Practical experience with NGFW (Cisco ASA / Firepower / WAF and equivalents);
- Network traffic and log analysis skills (tcpdump, Wireshark);
- Experience operating Cisco equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, ASR).
Bonus points
- Practical experience operating Cisco ACI;
- Experience integrating network infrastructure with Cisco ISE (802.1X, TrustSec, SGT);
- Cisco certifications (CCNP DC, CCIE DC);
- Automation and API experience (Ansible, Terraform, Python);
- Implementation of Zero Trust, microsegmentation, TrustSec;
- Experience with hybrid infrastructures (on-prem + cloud).
