Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who will be the "bridge" between users, product, and development. You are the lead on data and hypotheses, but you sit in the same chat as the development team and answer questions faster than they can add a task to Jira. You don't spend weeks building "monolithic dashboards" – you conduct task-specific research, prototype agents, and bring features to rollout, keeping a finger on the user's pulse.
- Requirements Management (User-first): Be closely connected with key users. Conduct ad-hoc research promptly upon product request (typically, the question "why did conversion drop?" should turn into a specific hypothesis within a couple of hours).
- Prototyping (AI-native): Quickly mock up an agent or feature prototype, gather feedback on it, and immediately repackage it into clear specs for the backend and frontend.
- Reaction Speed (ASAP): Answer development team questions in real-time. Clarify requirements with users and adjacent teams (production, support) so that developers don't have to wait or guess.
- Release Support: Support pilots and rollouts, personally handle corner cases with users.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for users and internal teams, because no one knows the new functionality better than you.
- Code and Data Work: Collaborate closely with development, quickly identify and resolve gaps between expectations and reality. Verify the final result on the staging/production environment before the tester does.
Our Approach:
The team operates on the AI First principle. We don't write scripts from scratch if it can be done through prompts and agents. But we require you to understand the logic behind these prompts and be able to validate AI output.
Working Conditions
- Work in a team that values initiative and speed (minimal bureaucracy).
- Real users who are waiting for your solutions.
- Opportunity to influence the product directly, without lengthy approvals.
Professional Skills
- Ability to work with SQL/Python/Excel at a level sufficient for quick data extraction and aggregation (dashboards are not the main focus, the essence is important).
- Understanding of how LLMs and AI agents work (at least at the level of a confident user who understands prompt engineering).
- Your skill is facilitation. You know how to ask users the right questions to uncover their real pain points, not just what they've imagined.
- Not afraid of "dirty" work: if you need to pull data from the Production environment to test a hypothesis – you will do it yourself (under the supervision of DevOps, of course).
- Possess strong communication skills: Ability to translate from "human" to "technical" and back.
- Have systems thinking and the ability to understand complex subject areas.
- Possess a high level of independence and ownership – if you take on a task, you see it through to an answer/solution.
- Ability to work with uncertainty: not "I don't know / impossible," but "I'll check, find out, and suggest options."
- Ability to structure a large volume of information.
- Understanding of integration interactions (REST, HTTP)
- Ability to reasonably choose the type of API (synchronous/asynchronous)
- Knowledge of database design principles
Will be a plus:
- Experience with BI tools (but this is secondary).
- Experience launching products from scratch (MVP, pilots).
