I'm Maria, Head of Operational Efficiency in Supply Chain Development.
We are forming a new department — an AI Lab. Our goal is not just to automate routine operations using ML/AI, but to ambitiously rethink familiar processes and find new ways to solve business problems with technology. A creative approach, readiness to experiment, and the ability to turn ideas into working solutions are important here.
The team is being formed almost from scratch, with a planned headcount of 9 people. We need a Business Analyst who will help translate business tasks into understandable requirements for development, work out user scenarios, and control the quality of AI solution implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collect, detail, and decompose requirements into user stories, scenarios, and technical specifications for development and testing
- Design module and API logic, model business processes in BPMN/UML, and work out alternative scenarios and error handling
- Interact with the development team: consult on requirements, participate in sprint planning and task complexity estimation
- Control implementation quality, participate in acceptance testing, and conduct requirement presentations for the team and stakeholders
- Analyze post-implementation results: collect efficiency metrics, evaluate achievement of business indicators, and prepare reporting for the business
Tech stack and tools: SQL, Excel, Python/Pandas, BPMN, UML, requirements gathering and decomposition techniques, functional specifications and test cases, Business Case.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in business process automation projects
- Higher education — in economics, engineering, or mathematics; specialization in business analytics or enterprise economics will be an advantage
- Ability to gather and decompose requirements, describe functional specifications and test cases
- Skills in business process and system modeling: BPMN, UML; understanding of API design principles
- Data analysis skills: SQL, Excel, basic Python/Pandas; ability to calculate economic efficiency and form a Business Case
