Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance the build, delivery, and operational processes of components for a distributed cloud platform based on an OpenStack-like ecosystem within a proprietary Linux distribution (RPM-based).
Your role involves automation, CI/CD, container infrastructure, packaging and publication of artifacts, as well as assisting in the stable delivery of changes to test and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (build, test, publish, deploy)
- Automation of service build and delivery (artifacts, containers, packages)
- Supporting the packaging and publication process (.rpm/.deb), managing repositories
- Preparing environments (dev/test/stage/prod), managing configurations and templates
- Supporting and developing deployment infrastructure (Ansible/scripts/templates), participating in releases and updates
- Collaborating with developers on requirements for environments, dependencies, and launch parameters
- Diagnosing issues in Linux environments: system logs, network, processes, disks, performance.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Linux (operations, diagnostics): systemd, journalctl
- Hands-on experience with containerization: Docker and/or Podman
- Experience building CI/CD (GitLab CI or similar), understanding of approaches: pipeline stages, artifacts, caching
- Understanding of REST API / RPC / service interaction principles.
- Automation experience: bash/python (or similar), ability to write reliable scripts.
- Experience with packaging: RPM and/or DEB
- Experience using GigaChat, Kandinsky, and similar tools in products, skills in creating and using AI agents
