We are looking for a System Analyst (Data Warehouse) to join the DWH Flowwow team. You will be responsible for the development of the corporate data warehouse, designing data models, creating data marts for business needs, and improving data quality.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of business requirements for data and analytics, formalization of tasks for development teams;
- Research and description of data sources: Yandex.Metrica, GA4, Adjust, Snowplow, backend e-commerce systems;
- Design of DWH data models: a detailed layer based on Data Vault 2.0 and analytical data marts based on Star Schema principles;
- Participation in the development and evolution of DWH using low-code tools;
- Development and support of data quality checks (Data Quality Checks);
- Preparation of technical documentation: technical specifications, functional requirements, descriptions of business logic and data models;
- Conducting functional testing of implemented changes;
- Development and support of a business glossary: description of metrics, entities, and business terms, agreement of definitions with business teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a DWH system analyst;
- Experience in designing DWH models and understanding the Data Vault 2.0 approach;
- Proficient in SQL: complex JOINs, window functions, query optimization, execution plan analysis;
- Understanding of DWH architecture: data layers, ETL/ELT processes, incremental loads, history storage, data normalization;
- Experience with data from e-commerce and marketing analytics;
- Skills in preparing technical documentation and interacting with business stakeholders.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience with Git;
- Knowledge of Airflow (DAG monitoring, log analysis);
- Experience with Python;
- Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and experience with Trino;
- Experience with BI tools Tableau and Superset: developing data marts and preparing data for dashboards.
