Game Designer (Feature Owner)
Hypernova develops Hybrid Casual mobile games that you want to play! Together with SayGames, we have released the games Dream Dale, Life Dream, Decor Life, Staff!, Rage Road, and Mini Market, with a total of over 180 million installs.
We are also developing deeper and more colorful Hybrid Casual projects. Our projects are distinguished by deep gameplay development for the user, a colorful visual style, attention to detail, and respect for the player's time.
We are not building an ideal game production factory, but rather striving to use people's strengths and develop the company with a human touch and adequate working conditions. How We Work:
- Casual and arcade games
- Lively development pace (not farming, but not hyper-casual either)
- Adequate technical specifications with references and iterative work with the lead
- Active interaction in a small team (3-5 people)
Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing game features from a game design perspective: creating concepts, writing GDDs, elaborating mechanics, economy, and monetization;
- Initiating and scaling features based on user analytics data and key project metrics;
- Designing, testing, and adjusting game mechanics;
- Preparing and launching A/B tests for key economy and progression entities, forming hypotheses and analyzing their effectiveness;
- Collaborating with analysts and producers to identify growth points, improve retention, and monetization;
- Working directly with game parameters in Unity: adjusting balance, configuring, and integrating game systems.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in mobile games (3+ years);
- Understanding of core F2P game metrics;
- Knowledge of key game analytics metrics;
- Understanding of game cycles and their impact on the user;
- Experience with Unity;
- Understanding of games/entertainment projects with the widest possible audience;
- Experience with analytics services and understanding of product analytics;
- Understanding of the ad monetization model in mobile games;
- Ability to build/maintain processes, work with a distributed team;
- Portfolio with implemented projects as Producer/Game Designer.
