Backend Developer (Go) | Fintech / Payments | Remote

We are an IT/Fintech company developing high-load systems for financial management and payment processing in international markets. We are looking for a Go developer to develop backend services for our payment platform.

Responsibilities: Development and support of services in Go. Design of APIs and inter-service communication via REST/gRPC. Working with PostgreSQL: data schemas, migrations, query optimization. Participation in architectural decisions, writing tests, code review, and supporting services in production.

Requirements: 🔹__Go__ Commercial experience in Go development. Understanding of language specifics: interfaces, pointers, error handling, goroutines, channels, context. Understanding of concurrency, synchronization, and memory management. Experience in developing and supporting production services.

🔹__PostgreSQL__ Solid SQL knowledge, understanding of JOINs, indexes, transactions, and isolation levels. Understanding of query optimization principles and working with EXPLAIN. Experience in designing data schemas and working with migrations.

🔹__Software Architecture and Design__ Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS principles and their practical application. Experience in organizing code by layers and separating responsibilities between components. Understanding of Clean Architecture and DDD. Knowledge of common design patterns and understanding when to apply them. Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions without excessive complexity.

🔹__Microservices and Service Interaction__ Understanding of distributed system design principles. Experience in API development and inter-service communication via REST/gRPC. Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication, error handling, timeouts, retries, and idempotency. Understanding of event-driven architecture and the principles of message brokers, specifically Kafka.

🔹__Engineering Practices__ Experience with Git and participation in code reviews. Ability to write testable code, experience with unit and integration testing. Experience in debugging, error analysis, and supporting live services. Ability to understand existing code, not just write new code.

Will be a plus: Practical experience with Kafka: consumer groups, offsets, delivery semantics. Experience with Redis. Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience working with code in other languages, e.g., Ruby.
