Backend Developer Go (Middle+ / Senior)

Salary: up to $3000 Format: remote Employment: Sole Proprietor / Service Agreement

A FinTech project is looking for a Go Developer to develop internal infrastructure for financial operations, integrations with external services, and automation of settlement processes.

🔹 RESPONSIBILITIES: — Development of the backend part of the product in Go: processing financial operations, routing, and interaction with external services; — Development and support of integrations with external APIs, processing of operation statuses, callbacks, timeouts, and retries; — Implementation of financial logic: balances, fees, exchange rates, inter-settlements, and reconciliations; — Design and development of APIs for partner systems and internal services; — Optimization of SQL queries, background processes, and data processing; — Improvement of architecture and reduction of technical debt; — Analysis of production incidents, root cause analysis, and writing regression tests; — Participation in the design of technical solutions and code review.

🔹 REQUIREMENTS: — Commercial experience in Go development for at least 1.5 years; — Understanding of concurrency: goroutines, channels, context, timeouts, and operation cancellation; — Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL: transactions, indexes, locks, isolation levels, and query optimization; — Experience in developing HTTP APIs and integrating with external systems; — Understanding of idempotency, retry, deduplication, and handling of repeated events; — Skills in testing business logic, including error handling and edge cases; — Ability to safely make changes to the existing system; — Attention to financial calculations, rounding, and data consistency; — Independence, responsibility, and ability to complete tasks to completion; — Readiness to promptly connect to solving production problems, including outside of working hours in case of critical incidents.

🔹 WILL BE A PLUS: — Experience in FinTech, billing, or financial operations processing systems; — Knowledge of ledger, double-entry bookkeeping, and principles of financial reconciliations; — Understanding of API security: request signatures, access control, and action auditing;
