About the Project: Our clients are top banks, large retailers, and systemically important enterprises. We are inviting an SRK and DWH Administrator to join the computing complex operations team for a banking project.
Together with us, you will:
- Ensure the uninterrupted operation of the backup system (80-90% of working time) and data storage systems
- Prepare work plans for change requests
- Execute change requests based on previously prepared work plans (including during the technical window)
- Resolve incidents
- Create profiles for mounting and connecting physical components for equipment installation
- Monitor and analyze the performance of backup systems and data storage systems
- Analyze the accuracy of monitoring data within your area of responsibility, formulate tasks for monitoring adjustments
- Write automated management scripts
- Resolve incidents jointly with Bank colleagues, software developers, and integrators providing support for complex tasks and incidents
- Inventory components within your area of responsibility, control the accuracy of inventory information
- Maintain and keep up-to-date working documentation within your area of responsibility
What skills and knowledge are important to us:
- At least 5 years of experience as a backup system administrator in a large organization
- Expert knowledge and experience in administering Veritas Netbackup SRK
- Experience administering Oracle, IBM, Dell tape libraries
- Knowledge and experience administering data storage systems (DWH) from Huawei, Hitachi manufacturers
- Knowledge and experience administering SAN networks and SAN switches (Brocade)
- Experience administering servers at a level below the operating system (manufacturers such as Huawei, Cisco, Dell, Yadro, etc.)
