Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting server equipment and tape library malfunctions;
- Performing emergency recovery and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operability;
- Implementing and commissioning server equipment and tape libraries;
- Interacting with the equipment manufacturer's technical support;
- Maintaining documentation within the scope of assigned tasks and statistics;
- Analyzing complex technical problems and equipment failures.
We expect you to have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar IT specialist role;
- Higher education/vocational training;
- Ability to work with a large volume of information while solving diverse tasks, understanding of process-oriented and service-oriented approaches to work (ITIL/ITSM);
- English language proficiency at B1-B2 level (spoken and written correspondence);
- Knowledge and experience with server equipment and tape libraries;
- Knowledge of installation (mounting, connection) and configuration of equipment and tape libraries;
- Knowledge of server platform assembly and testing principles, server equipment upgrade skills.
Will be an advantage:
- Relevant server certifications (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, etc.);
- Knowledge of programming languages.
