Middle+/Senior BI Developer / Grafana Analyst

We are looking for a specialist for a long-term project in the manufacturing sector. The main focus is on developing BI reporting and monitoring based on Grafana OSS, working with existing dashboards, optimizing queries, and visualizing metrics.

🎓 Grade: Middle+ / Senior
🏭 Sector: manufacturing / tobacco company

Stack:

— Grafana OSS 13.0 as a BI visualization platform;
— SQL: primarily Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with ClickHouse in prospect;
— Git;
— Jira;
— Confluence.

What's important:

— Experience in developing dashboards and alerts in Grafana;
— Experience in refactoring and optimizing existing dashboards;
— Confident SQL work;
— Ability to understand someone else's code and logic without full documentation;
— Experience in writing technical documentation;
— Ability to gather and agree on requirements with the business will be a plus.

Main tasks:

— Development of tasks according to ready-made technical specifications;
— Participation in assessing the technical feasibility of new requirements;
— Analysis of existing reports in Grafana and search for opportunities to merge and standardize logic;
— Agreement on changes in logic and visualization with business customers;
— Building monitoring dashboards for internal services;
— Setting up alerting when metrics deviate from the norm;
— Optimization of slow and hanging SQL queries in reports;
— Refactoring of existing solutions.

⭐ Will be a plus: experience in building a monitoring dashboard directly for Grafana itself.
