We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / DWH Developer to work on analytical systems in the financial domain. We need a practical specialist who can quickly immerse themselves in the subject area, build a stable data model, and take on the tasks of developing and supporting the analytical data warehouse. The project focuses on working with data from credit organizations, with an emphasis on data quality, metric transparency, and analytical convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop an analytical data warehouse (DWH) • Develop data models (fact / dimension, aggregates) • Build ETL / ELT processes for data loading and transformation • Develop analytical marts and BI models • Work with financial data (loans, payments, overdue accounts, clients, products) • Ensure data quality, consistency, and historicity • Optimize queries, data models, and performance metrics calculation • Interact with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to formalize requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Data / DWH development • Proficient knowledge of SQL • Practical experience in building DWH / analytical systems • Understanding of data modeling approaches (Star Schema, Fact / Dimension) • Experience in developing ETL / ELT processes • Understanding of the principles of building analytical reporting and BI • Experience with one or more analytical DBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric / Synapse) • Understanding the differences between OLTP and OLAP systems • Ability to design stable and understandable data models

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial domain (banks, microfinance organizations, fintech) • Experience in building reports on credit portfolios (originations, repayments, overdue accounts, collections, cohort and vintage analysis) • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset, Metabase) • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt) • Experience using Python for data processing • Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, and data historization principles
