Data Engineer (Fintech)

In T-Bank, we have a large and advanced data warehouse: it consists of 8000 objects, 800 TB in Greenplum, and 110 TB in Clickhouse.

Over 16 thousand users from business teams actively work with the data — they make dozens of decisions daily based on it. Our team ensures that access to data is simple and convenient to use. We are constantly improving our approaches and striving to be innovators in the technology market.

We are looking for a data engineer to join our team. At T-Bank, you can develop in one of two directions — system analysis or ETL development. Or combine them if you are interested in both.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in data model formation
• Design and develop data marts and data flows based on the needs of business users
• Participate in Data Platform development projects
• Write SQL and Python scripts, this is optional
• Develop integrations with external systems for the Data Platform

Requirements:

• Fluent in SQL
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with DWH as an analyst or developer
• Understand the theory of DBMS and ETL processes
• Know Python or another programming language
• Have experience designing DB objects based on business requirements
