Senior Data Analyst / Engineer

✅We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Engineer in the RF (strictly).

📊Domain: Bank: Financial Department. Development of a corporate data warehouse.

👨🏻‍💻About the role: You will be developing the corporate data warehouse: designing data marts for management and financial reporting, developing their assembly processes, and working directly with methodologists and business stakeholders.

🟢This role is at the intersection of technical development and business communication. Half of the result is code and data model, the second half is the ability to understand the methodology with the client and offer a solution that will satisfy them.

💼What you will be doing: – Designing data marts: model, granularity, attribute composition, historicity – Developing and maintaining data mart loading processes, connecting new data sources – Working with Bank employees: identifying and clarifying requirements, understanding calculation methodologies, agreeing on results – Proposing implementation options with an assessment of effort and limitations, not just executing the assigned task – Handling ad-hoc business requests: quickly finding data, explaining discrepancies in figures – Developing reports and dashboards – Preparing accompanying documentation: data mart descriptions, indicator calculation regulations

🛠What we expect: – Experience as an analyst and/or data engineer for at least 6 years, with at least 2-3 years in a Bank being mandatory – Expert knowledge of SQL: window functions, analytical queries, complex joins. – Query optimization skills: reading execution plans, working with large tables, partitioning, indexes – Experience with industrial DBMS – Experience in developing a data warehouse: data mart design, ETL/ELT development – Experience in the banking sector or financial organizations – Ability to listen and ask clarifying questions, speak the business's language

🎯Will be a plus: – Higher technical or economic education – Experience with Airflow, Informatica, FormIT – Experience developing dashboards in BI tools – Knowledge of finance and accounting, experience in building reports in these areas – Experience with regulatory reporting

🏆What is important for success in this role: Client requirements are rarely provided in a ready-made form. More often, it's a problem description from which, together with the methodologist, you need to assemble a calculation formula and understand what data is available for it in the warehouse, and what is missing. We are looking for a person who finds this work interesting.
