Lead Brand Identity Designer

The brand unit is responsible for the development of 2GIS's visual language. We work with style, the identity of sub-brands and new products, federal advertising campaigns, and special projects — everything that is then scaled across the product, marketing, and communications.

We are looking for a designer who will help develop and bring the 2GIS brand system to completion: deeply understand what already exists, identify gaps and inconsistencies in the rules, and over time become the owner of style standards for the entire company.

What you will do

• Gain a deep understanding of the existing 2GIS style and the work done for the redesign: principles, elements, application rules, examples.
• Review and improve current solutions: identify gaps and inconsistencies, clarify principles, and build a cohesive brand identity system (guidelines, examples, rules).
• Over time, become the point of expertise on style for product and communication teams: guide, explain, demonstrate with examples, help maintain a unified visual language.
• Stop solutions that start to break consistency and propose alternatives within the system.

What we expect

• 3+ years of experience in branding and identity with specific results.
• Systems thinking: the ability not only to create but also to structure, describe, and communicate to others (guides, principles, examples).
• Negotiation skills: the ability to explain, argue, and guide teams through changes.
• Independence, responsibility, and curiosity.

Would be a plus: experience working with large product brands.

You can work from the office or remotely, as you prefer. If you want to work in a hybrid format, we have offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and two great offices in Novosibirsk. Remote work is available from any city in Russia.
