We are currently holding a competition for the vacancy of Intern in the Corporate Digital Office.
Responsibilities:
- Populating the data warehouse metamodel via SQL (PostgreSQL) — inserting and correcting reference data, mapping fields.
- Minor adjustments in Python (helper scripts, template-based data processing).
- Maintaining documentation in wiki: describing the structure, instructions, results of changes.
We expect (required):
- SQL: confident SELECT with JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY, CTE; understanding of PK/FK, NULL, differences between data modification and schema modification.
- Python: basic syntax (functions, lists, dictionaries, loops, conditions); ability to read and complete small code snippets based on examples.
- Git: basic commands (clone, branch, commit, creating PR) at the level of a learning project.
- Accuracy: working according to checklists, checking before entering data, willingness to ask questions rather than inventing business logic.
- Documentation: clear formatting in Markdown (headings, tables, lists), recording results and links.
Will be a plus (but not required):
- Familiarity with Data Vault (hub-sat-link), ETL experience, DBeaver/psql.
- Basic Linux (cd, ls, grep).
- Understanding of JSON/YAML.
- English at the level of reading technical documentation.
