DevOps/Middle System Engineer

Position: DevOps/Middle System Engineer Location: Moscow and Moscow Oblast. Work Format: remote (occasional office visits for rare incidents). Employment: full-time. Salary Range: up to 250,000 RUB (net)

Company Asfera (KA). A dynamically developing accredited IT company – developer of automated systems for emergency services. In connection with expansion, we invite you to join our team as a DevOps/Middle System Engineer.

• Working hours from 10:00 to 19:00 or from 9:00 to 18:00, 5/2

Responsibilities:

• Administration, support, and development of the Client's high-load infrastructure (over 150 Linux VMs), own test and dev environments, interaction with Dev and QA teams (approx. 40 AltLinux / AstraLinux and Windows Server VMs).
• Automation of application and infrastructure deployment processes (CI/CD development based on GitLab).
• Operation and maintenance of applications at the Client's sites (3rd level support), VM management (Proxmox, Xen, VMware) and backup.
• Administration of VipNet hardware-software complex.
• Maintenance of basic technical and accounting documentation.

Requirements:

• Solid Linux and Windows Server administration skills.
• Experience operating high-load systems.
• Understanding of fault tolerance, scalability, and monitoring principles.
• Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, GRE).
• Experience operating PHP applications.
• PostgreSQL administration (replication, backup, and recovery).
• MongoDB administration (replica set, basic understanding of sharding principles).
• Working with Redis (cache, pub/sub, persistence).
• Nginx administration and configuration.
• Working with containerization (Docker, docker-compose).
• Experience with Git (branching, merge requests, code review).

Will be a plus:

• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, VictoriaLogs, ClickStack).
• Experience with Ansible/Terraform.
