Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

FANzino is a B2B provider of new-format games in the online gambling world.
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for the creation, automation, and support of high-load and fault-tolerant systems. 🚀
The vacancy involves working from our office in Cyprus – we are assembling a strong team in one place to accelerate processes and improve interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Deploy, administer, and scale applications in Kubernetes (K8s).
- Manage access and deploy Jira, Confluence systems.
- Manage and optimize AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc.).
- Manage DNS.
- Administer and have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems.
- Configure, monitor, and ensure the fault tolerance of Kafka and NATS clusters.
- Manage and support database clusters (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Clickhouse), including replication, backup, and recovery.
- Implement and support monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Implement and design PKI and SSH access management infrastructure.
- Ensure the security of infrastructure and applications.
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize system performance.
Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes: experience with deployment, management, scaling, and troubleshooting clusters.
- Understanding of K8s architecture.
- Deep knowledge of Linux: administration, networking, file systems.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD: creating and supporting complex pipelines, integrating with various tools.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka: installation, configuration, monitoring, performance optimization, and ensuring cluster fault tolerance.
- Solid experience with AWS: infrastructure design and management, knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, EKS).
- Experience administering database clusters: knowledge of replication, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring principles.
- Experience with configuration management systems like Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Work with access provision via SSH, PKI.
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Zabbix).
- Understanding of network security principles and experience applying best practices.
Will be a plus
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional).
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
- Experience with other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of other message brokers (RabbitMQ, Redis Streams).
- Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
