QA Automation Engineer — AI-assisted testing

Looking for: QA Automation Engineer — AI-assisted testing

📍 Format: remote (except for Russia) 🕐 Employment: full-time, B2B

Project: a data collection platform and proxy infrastructure. Five products: Scraper API, SERP API, dynamic data extraction endpoints, Stealth Browser, and proxies. The products use different technologies, so it's important to be comfortable digging into unfamiliar code.

You will be the only dedicated AQA: you will develop the strategy and build the missing automation from scratch, working directly with developers.

Stack: API, HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5, SQL, Git, CI, browser automation, Claude Code and other LLM tools. Python and pytest will be a plus, but not required.

Who we're looking for: • An engineer with experience in API and backend automation, ready to independently choose tools and coverage priorities • You know how to check data quality: completeness, correctness, schemas, duplicates — a successful HTTP status is not enough • You can find sites that are difficult to scrape, test them through the products, and determine the causes of failures: proxy, anti-bot, browser, parser, or dependencies between services • You understand proxies: geotargeting, sticky sessions, rotation, protocols; you know how to check their quality and reliability • Experience with LLMs is mandatory: you use them to speed up work and integrate them into testing, but you verify the generated code and conclusions • Ready to analyze support requests, proactively find problems, and fix minor bugs in code with tests and reviews • You can discuss technical issues in English
