What you will do
- functional, regression testing of the banking payment system API (Manual 80%, automated testing 20%)
- perform test effort estimation
- prepare and update test cases for application testing
- develop new and maintain existing automated tests
- collect and analyze test results, generate reports
- log found defects in JIRA and work with them
- interact with the agile team: analysts, developers, DevOps
- assist in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for tasks
What we expect from the candidate
- at least 1 year of experience in testing
- knowledge and experience in applying test design and testing practices, understanding of software quality assurance processes
- experience in writing test documentation (test cases, checklists, test protocols, instructions)
- experience with bug tracking systems (preferably Jira)
- understanding of microservice architecture principles
- API testing experience (REST, gRPC)
- skills in working with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, etc.)
- SQL knowledge at the level of writing medium-complexity queries (table joins), experience with databases
- basic Java/Kotlin knowledge (syntax, understanding of OOP)
- skills in working with Git, understanding Git flow
- experience working with the Agile methodology or knowledge/understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Will be a plus
- experience in writing and maintaining autotests
