QA Automation Specialist

We are part of a large team that develops insurance products at SberBank.

Our product is credit card holder insurance (DSZH KK). We are developing the SBOL mobile application, a web interface for office employees and clients, as well as middle and back-end systems that manage the processes of issuing and purchasing policies.

The entire process – from the application's appearance to integration with insurance companies – is in our hands.

We are looking for a responsible colleague who will not only support the existing process, test suite, and autotests, but also participate in the creation and development of new ideas and products.

Responsibilities

• automation of the application backend in Java
• design and updating of the test model in the project
• conducting functional and regression testing
• localization and registration of defects in the bug-tracking system
• analysis of implemented tasks for compliance with requirements
• participation in the decomposition and estimation of backlog tasks
• automation of the product module testing process

Requirements

• manual testing experience of 4+ years (back-end)

• automated REST API testing experience of 2+ years in Java, including optimization of existing frameworks (not BDD)

• experience in testing mobile and web applications

• confident knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques, as well as experience with databases at the level of medium-complexity queries

• practical experience in applying AI in QA tasks (e.g., for generating test ideas, analyzing logs, or optimizing autotests)

• working knowledge of client-server interaction principles, understanding of microservice architecture and REST API testing specifics

• automation skills for related processes: working with JSON, log analysis, using Postman/INSOMNIA for API testing, proficiency in bug-tracking systems and task management systems Will be a plus:

• experience in the banking or financial sector

• experience in automated UI interface testing

• understanding of CI/CD principles and practical experience in running or supporting automated tests in pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

• knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deploying test environments

• experience in non-functional testing (load testing JMeter/k6, security testing OWASP Top 10)

• proficiency in contract testing tools (Pact)

• basic programming skills in Python/Groovy for writing auxiliary utilities

• possession of relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB)

• instrumental proficiency in AI for analysis, generation, and automation
