PHP Backend Developer (Marketing Services)

☑️ Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop existing marketing services
- Integrate with external services: CRM, mailing services, advertising accounts (Yandex.Direct, VK Ads), analytics and call tracking systems, webhooks
- Collaborate with the SEO team to maintain and improve the technical aspects of SEO
- Manage mailings from a technical perspective: segmentation, trigger sequences, queues, templates, deliverability, unsubscribes, event tracking
- Generate reports: regular exports, data marts, dashboards, end-to-end analytics
- Support landing pages, counters, pixels, UTM tagging, and A/B tests
- Understand the websites, CMS, codebase, and legacy systems used by marketing. Create a map of all integrations: what each is for, how it authenticates, who is responsible for it on the business side, where it fails. Identify duplicate and outdated integrations and suggest what to disable or rework
- Agree with the marketing manager and team lead on how to accept tasks and in what order to do them: urgent fix, enhancement, new integration
- Deploy the first 1-2 tasks to production. Or, if prioritized, automate a regular report that is currently collected manually, with scheduling and error notifications
- Take over mailing support: understand templates, segmentation, queues, and triggers, check SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, unsubscribes, error handling, and bounces, fix critical issues
- Set up basic monitoring and alerts for key integrations and exports, and maintain documentation for your solutions in one place
☑️ Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial development experience, proficient in PHP 7+ and Git
- OOP and SOLID, design patterns where they are truly needed
- MySQL or PostgreSQL: transactions, indexes, query optimization
- Experience in designing and supporting APIs, and integrations with external services
- Ability to understand third-party code and legacy solutions
- Basic Linux and Docker knowledge
- JavaScript (Vue.js)
Will be a plus:
- Laravel or OctoberCMS
- Redis, Elasticsearch
- Experience with integrations with CRM, advertising accounts, mailing services, or analytics
