Responsibilities

• Oversee ML contractors: task setting, deadlines, acceptance
• Audit of outsourced work — verify the quality of solutions, don't just take their word for it
• Establish processes and standards for working with ML teams
• Provide technical consultation on ML issues within the company
• Develop the ML direction at the company level

We are looking for

• Managerial experience — this is key. The role is about management, not code
• Sufficient ML expertise to evaluate others' solutions and argue substantively
• Experience working with external contractors / distributed teams
• Ability to translate business tasks into ML requirements
