Senior Automation Engineer Java (ABS Development for Indian Branch)
We are the development center for Sber's Indian branch, developing an automated banking system (ABS) for the Indian branch.
The system consists of a set of modules – core, accounting, reporting, credit and other products, internet banking, and an anti-fraud system. You can take a direct part in the creation of any of them, influence the architecture, quality, processes, and how they should ultimately look.
Part of the team is in Russia, part is in India, an excellent opportunity to work in an international team!

Responsibilities
- Setting up automated testing processes in the project
- Implementing backend auto-tests, integration tests, interface auto-tests
- Participating in E2E testing, developing concepts for automatic E2E testing
- Participating in load testing
- Working in agile/scrum methodology in close interaction with other team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a test automation engineer.
- Knowledge of basic data structures, basic algorithms
- Understanding of application interaction in a microservice architecture
- Knowledge of web application architecture principles, understanding of HTML, DOM, REST, browser dev tools
- Experience testing applications: backend, frontend, integration, load tests
- Experience developing tests using frameworks: Selenium, Citrus, Cucumber
- Confident knowledge and understanding of databases, good skill in writing SQL queries
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Experience with Git version control system
- Experience developing autotests in Java
- Ability to independently choose an effective way to solve a task and help others with it
- English language proficiency of at least B2 - MANDATORY.
- Skills in working with generative AI models
