AI Marketing Engineer
Mid-to-Senior
#HIRING at Plurio by Elly Analytics
About Plurio
Plurio (ex-Elly Analytics) is an AI agent for performance marketing teams. We're not another dashboard or analytics tool — we're building AI that actually does the work: analyzes campaigns, spots problems, reallocates budgets, and explains what's happening in plain language.
We've raised $4.5M total, with the most recent $3.5M announced in March 2026. We work with marketing teams spending $100K–$5M/month on paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) — companies with complex funnels, long conversion chains, subscription and repeat-purchase models, and LTV-driven optimization (think EdTech, FinTech, Consumer Apps, Healthcare, Home Services).
The team is 30+ people, fully remote, and radically AI-first — everyone works in Cursor with a shared workspace. We don't just sell AI; we run on it.
Why This Role Exists
Plurio is growing fast — and our clients use the agent every day. As the agent takes over routine optimization, they're getting real time back. And they're using it to go deeper: into the details of their campaigns, into more sophisticated strategies, into work they never had bandwidth for before.
That creates a new demand. Clients don't just want automation — they want deep, channel-specific expertise embedded into their workflows. Someone who truly understands how Meta bidding decisions ripple through a funnel, or what creative fatigue patterns look like on TikTok, and can build tools that unlock the next level of campaign management inside their ad accounts.
We're building a team where focus is everything. Each Marketing AI Engineer owns one channel — not spread thin across all of them. Your time and energy go into developing deep expertise and turning it into powerful workflows and automations that clients can run directly inside their accounts.
- Location: Remote (Global)
- Type: Full-time
- Reports to: CPO (Denis Pushkin)
What You’ll Own
- Build channel expertise into AI: Design and develop workflows and agent skills for your channel — rules, logic, optimization patterns that the AI can execute. You're not just prompting; you're systematizing how great marketing decisions get made.
- Implement with clients: Roll out new workflows with real client teams. You'll work hands-on with performance marketers at client companies — explaining the logic, adapting to their setup, making it work.
- Create templates and documentation: Turn every implementation into a reusable template. Train account managers and production team to deploy workflows independently.
- Feed the product roadmap: You're the bridge between client reality and engineering. When you need better data, new attribution, connections, or different structures — you write the spec and work with the dev and analytics team to build it.
- Customize for key clients: When the standard workflow doesn't fit an important client — you customize it, building on top of the universal foundation. And the best custom solutions don't stay custom: you turn them into scalable workflows available to all clients.
You're the Right Person If
- You're a senior performance marketer with deep hands-on expertise in at least one channel: Meta/Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, or Creative production.
- You think in systems: you've built processes, rules, and workflows — not just run campaigns.
- You use AI tools daily and have spent real time crafting prompts and agent instructions for your work — your CLAUDE.md, cursor rules, or custom GPT setup should reflect months of iteration, not something thrown together last week.
- You can explain your thinking clearly — to marketers, developers, and clients. Not just do the work, but document and transfer it.
- You understand attribution and data — not at an engineering level, but you know how ad platform data connects to business outcomes, what's in the API, and why attribution models matter.
- You have experience at a performance marketing agency or a product company where you helped build marketing processes from the inside.
- You're client-facing comfortable and fluent in English — you've worked with external teams, can run implementation conversations, and communicate clearly with US-based clients and an international team.
Nice to Have
- You have experience with automations (Make, n8n, Zapier, scripts, even complex spreadsheet formulas that actually run).
- You understand how AI agents work beyond just chat: skills, memory, tool calls, MCP.
Red Flags
- Someone who expects a management path in 6–12 months.
- "I set up ads" without systems thinking or structured knowledge.
- Deep expertise in one very specific setup that can't generalize across clients.
- No hands-on recent work — strategy-only background.
What You Can Expect
- High pace, high stakes: Fast iteration and real pressure to move quickly.
- Work at the frontier: Building AI that does the work of experienced marketers.
- Direct collaboration: Work closely with Denis (CPO), Evelina (CMO), and Kirill (co-founder, CBDO).
- Competitive compensation: Aligned with senior performance marketing experience.
- Remote-first: Work from anywhere (Europe & Americas-friendly timezone).
- AI-first environment: The whole company runs on Cursor, Claude, and shared AI infrastructure.
