QA Engineer for the Autonomous Transport Maps Testing Team

Yandex has been developing autonomous driving technologies for several years. We have already launched autonomous cars and trucks, as well as delivery robots. Currently, our autonomous fleet is being tested in some districts of Moscow, in Murino (Leningrad Region), Sochi, and Innopolis.

We invite an experienced QA engineer to join the team.

What tasks await you

Testing maps and mapping services You will conduct functional, regression, and integration testing of maps and mapping services, create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, instructions), be responsible for release testing, and systematically work with incidents.

Coordination with teams and task planning You will collaborate with development, product, mapping teams and managers, and participate in the strategic planning of the testing team.

We expect that you

• Have worked as a QA engineer for more than three years
• Have tested REST API and microservices
• Understand testing and automation principles
• Apply test design techniques in your work
• Can work with the Unix shell command line
• Work with the command line and Git

Will be a plus

• Have worked on large product projects
• Have built testing or test automation processes
• Have tested products with ML or Big Data
• Understand deployment and CI processes
• Know Python or JavaScript or are ready to actively develop in this direction
• Can work with Pytest or Playwright
